House of Taga site on Tinian preserves the largest standing latte stones in the Mariana Islands — pillars up to 5 m tall, paired with hemispherical capstones weighing several tons each. Quarried from coral limestone at Rota and transported to Tinian over open ocean. Construction techniques remain partially debated.
