Kosrae Leluh Island
MegalithicPacific
Ancient walled city on Leluh Island just off Kosrae, Federated States of Micronesia. Massive basalt walls (some over 8 m tall) enclose tomb compounds and royal residences. Construction style closely parallels Nan Madol (300 km away on Pohnpei) — both use natural basalt prisms laid in alternating directions. Active ~1250-1850 CE.
