The 'Floating Stone' on the grounds of Ōshiko Jinja shrine in Takasago, Hyogo Prefecture (near Himeji). A 500-ton granite monolith carved from the hillside, appearing to hover above its base. Era of creation unknown; some attribute it to the Jomon civilization.
