Buddhist cave complex in Taiyuan, Shanxi. 25 caves carved during the Eastern Wei, Northern Qi, Sui, and Tang dynasties (6th-8th c. CE). Many sculptures were removed in the early 20th century — recent reunification projects have begun returning them digitally.
