Main temple of the Aztec capital, in present-day central Mexico City. Twin pyramids dedicated to Tlaloc and Huitzilopochtli. Built over the older Chichimec / Tlatelolco substrate. Razed and buried by the Spanish; rediscovered 1978 during subway construction.
