The third-largest pyramid in the world by base area, at the heart of Teotihuacan, Mexico. 65 m tall, 220 m base, oriented to the setting sun on the day the sun passes its zenith at Teotihuacan's latitude. Built c. 200 CE. The Teotihuacanos who built it left no decipherable written language; the city was already in ruins when the Aztecs encountered it and named it 'Place Where the Gods Were Born.'
