Pyramid of the Feathered Serpent (Teotihuacan)

Pyramid at the south of the Ciudadela complex at Teotihuacan, decorated with massive sculpted stone serpent heads and rain god (Tlaloc) panels. Tunnel discovered beneath the pyramid in 2003 has revealed extensive ritual offerings including liquid mercury and over 100,000 artifacts. Construction phase: 150-250 CE.
