'Oracle of the Dead' in Epirus, northwestern Greece. An underground sanctuary built ~3rd century BCE on much older foundations, dedicated to Hades and Persephone. Visitors descended through labyrinthine chambers to communicate with the dead. Mentioned by Homer in the Odyssey.
