A granite keep and surviving enclosure preserve the medieval castle of Longroiva in Mêda. The tower is associated with the Knights Templar and Gualdim Pais in the 12th century. Later alterations and reuse changed the enclosure, while the surviving masonry retains evidence of the building’s earlier floors and openings.
