Cliff-top fortress in Shanxi Province, hidden by deep loess gorges and nearly invisible from below. Carved chambers and a monumental 30-foot doorway suggest construction beyond simple defensive needs. Officially attributed to local farmers, but the scale and tool marks parallel Longyou Caves and other unexplained Chinese excavations.
