Gornaya Shoria Megaliths

Granite formations along the ridgecrests and summit of Mount Kuylyum (1,203 m) in the Kulyum-Surak massif, Kemerovo Oblast, roughly 8 km from the village of Orton in southern Siberia. Expedition accounts - Georgy Sidorov, Valery Uvarov, John Jensen - report blocks of 3,000-4,000 tonnes with flat faces, right-angle joints and stacked courses, which would exceed Baalbek's trilithon. No published survey has measured a block, so those masses are reported rather than established. Geological mapping reads the formation as natural granite tors: two orthogonal joint sets meeting near 90 degrees under tectonic stress and pressure release, plus spheroidal weathering producing rounded corestones. That reading accounts for the horizontal courses, the vertical walls, the bulged surfaces often described as melted stone, and the weathering pits in the rock. The open question is whether any feature on the ridge falls outside the range natural jointing produces. Remote and underdocumented; the coordinate here is approximate and needs confirming against a survey source.
